Terms of Service for SoTah Adventures

Participation Terms of Service

Welcome to SoTah Adventures! Before you hit the trails, here are a few things you need to know (and agree to) to ensure we all have a good time without any unexpected plot twists.

Liability Waiver & Safety Dance

* Participation in off-road motorized activities involves inherent risk. If you’re uncomfortable with these risks, or with accepting personal responsibility for them, this experience may not be a good fit for you.

Before you rev up and ride out, you’ll review and sign a standard liability waiver — we’ll send it over after booking. Think of it as a quick pre-adventure handshake: we’re here for maximum fun, not foolishness. A little common sense goes a long way on the trails (and while dirt bike fail videos are entertaining, we’d prefer you never star in one).

Know Before You Go

Brush up on your dirt biking laws and know that bringing your health insurance card is as crucial as wearing a helmet. You have to understand that even walking, let alone biking, is inherently dangerous. While we ensure top-notch gear and expert guides, we're not liable for personal injuries, loss of work, or even your med flight to the hospital.

Before we hit the trails, just a quick check—everything in your safety net securely fastened? It’s all part of being adventure-ready!

Utah's OHV Permit Palooza (Self Guided Rentals only)

For Rentals Only
Starting January 1, 2023, Utah requires all OHV Self-Guided Rental drivers to complete a free education course before heading out. Adults and minors alike must show proof of passing this quick, under-30-minute course to ride on public lands.

Don’t worry—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime requirement (like skydiving, but without the falling).

👉 Note: This requirement does not apply to guided tours.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: The Nitty-Gritty

Cancellations and no-shows are fully refundable.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance receive a full refund.

* Weather or Not: If Mother Nature throws a tantrum (think flash floods or scorching heat waves exceeding 110 degrees Fahrenheit at the start time, you'll get a full refund. For tours, these cancellations are automated, so check your phone; we’ll let you know via SMS and email. For rentals, It's up to you if you still want to ride. A lot of people just go up in evelvation to cool off. Oak Grove is only 85/90 degrees Fahrenheit on a 110 degree day.

* When Things Break: Dirt bike decides to nap mid-trip? We’ll try to swap it out, but if we can’t, you get your money back, no questions asked. We prioritize your experience, ensuring safety and satisfaction on our tours. If a dirt bike breakdown or injury prevents reaching the planned destination, we will issue a full refund to the affected group.

Gear Up and Show Up

To join the fun, make sure you’re dressed for the occasion—long sturdy pants, closed-toe shoes, and bring whatever the desert might throw at you. If you show up tipsy or unprepared, it's a no-go, and you'll forfeit your spot (and your cash). This is not like cruising on a moped while sipping a piña colada on the beach. Keep it classy and ready for action.

Ready to roll?

Enjoy your adventure with SoTah Adventures, where we’re serious about fun (and safety, and laws, and hydration... you get the gist).
