We rent full-power electric dirt bikes.
Riders must be comfortable with balancing, controlling throttle and speed, braking smoothly, and riding basic off-road terrain independently and consistently.
Adult riders (18+) do not need prior dirt bike experience. Many first-time adult riders are able to learn quickly and ride safely with instruction and supervision.
Riders under 18, however, must have prior action-sports experience—such as dirt biking, BMX, e-bikes, or technical mountain biking—due to the power of the bikes and the need for judgment and consequence awareness.
Eligibility is based on rider ability, size, and experience, and is ultimately determined by staff at check-in for safety reasons.
All riders complete a brief skills confirmation before departure to ensure proper fit, control, and readiness.Riders who are unable to meet these requirements may be denied participation for safety reasons.

SoTah Adventures guided tours are designed to be approachable, structured, and supportive—even for first-time riders. No prior dirt bike or action-sports experience is required, and no Utah OHV course is required for participation in guided tours.
While experience is not required, all riders must be able to listen carefully, follow instructions, and operate the bike in a controlled and predictable manner. For safety, riders must be capable of balancing independently, applying throttle smoothly, braking under control, and navigating basic off-road terrain at a guided pace.
Final eligibility is based on rider size, ability, and readiness, and is determined by SoTah staff at check-in.
Before departure, every rider completes a brief skills confirmation with a guide. This includes proper bike fit, starting and stopping, throttle control, braking, and slow-speed maneuvering. This step ensures that each rider can safely control the bike and participate comfortably in the tour environment.
If a rider is unable to demonstrate safe control, staff may delay participation, modify the riding plan, or deny participation for safety reasons.
Guides may adjust speed, routes, riding order, or tour duration based on rider comfort, ability, group dynamics, weather, or trail conditions.
Our priority is a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone. Riders who cannot safely operate the bike or follow instructions may have their participation limited or ended at any time.
