Babylon Sand Drift & Play is a 2-hour, 6-mile ride through one of Southern Utah’s most otherworldly landscapes — including terrain featured with Surronster. Think Mars on a dirt bike: deep red sand, wide-open washes, rolling dunes, towering red canyon walls, and strange desert formations in every direction.

Along the way, you’ll explore the historic Babylon area, stop for photos, and visit the John Vaughn House ruins and ancient petroglyphs tucked into the desert.

This is our most physically active beginner-friendly tour. Soft sand keeps you working as the bike slides, drifts, and moves beneath you. No previous sand-riding experience is required, but you should be comfortable with the possibility of tipping over and getting sandy.

The riding area is wide and open with no cliff exposure, so you can focus on learning how to ride the sand. Your guide will coach you along the way, adjust the bike to your comfort level, and help you build confidence as you go.

It’s only 6 miles — but on Mars, 6 miles is plenty.
