What’s the difference between a rental and a tour?

Tours are perfect if you just want to show up and ride—no OHV course required, even for kids. Your guide sets the pace, keeps things fun and safe, and you’ll cruise scenic routes with Bluetooth headsets and support the whole way.

Rentals are ideal for confident, independent riders. If you’re 18 or older, Utah law requires you to complete a quick 10–20 minute OHV course before riding.

For minors, the state-mandated course is 3 hours long—which might be worth it for multi-day rentals, but otherwise, we highly recommend booking a tour instead.

Can kids under 10 ride?

Kids ages 8–9 can ride with prior approval. There’s no strict age limit—we look at things like maturity, coordination, and overall comfort. By age 10, most kids have the motor skills to handle the ride. That said, due to insurance rules, we can’t allow riders under 8 year old.

Parents should know that we ride on real roads to get to the trailhead, and there may be some cliff exposure depending on the route. We want YOU to feel good about your kid handling that.

Smaller riders need to be able to touch the ground and manage the bike’s weight (about 100 lbs). Some bike experience helps, but they don’t need to be pros—just confident and comfortable on two wheels.

For now, only the 2 hour tours including the Yant Flats Scenic Cruise and Babylon Sand Adventure Ride are available for riders under 12, using our mini electric dirt bikes due to the terrain and range.

All riders will do a quick skills check in the parking lot before the tour begins.

What do I get when I rent (besides bragging rights)?

Every rental or tour includes a fully charged electric dirt bike, a helmet, gloves, and a quick skills rundown. Tours also come with an experienced guide to lead the way (and make sure you don’t miss the best views).

If you are renting overnight or multi-day, you. will also be given the charger to take with you.

What should I bring so I don’t regret my life choices?

Closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, long pants for the stray rocks and a potential wipe-out. We provide the gear you need for riding — but you’ll want to dress for the weather, and maybe pack a phone or camera for the jaw-dropping views.

Yes, you can wear a backpack.

Can I take this beast on the streets like a rebel? (Short answer: mostly no.)

In Leeds, yes — the town is OHV-friendly and allows responsible off-road vehicle use on local streets to access nearby trails. Outside of Leeds, no — riding our rentals on public roads elsewhere in Washington County is strictly prohibited. And please, don’t spend time in parking lots or roads trying to pop wheelies. Definitely don’t ride on lawns or park grass either. Keep it classy!

What’s a ‘Tahset? LOL

It’s our name for the kind of sunset you only get in Southern Utah. We don’t have a lot of clouds out here, so instead of the sky lighting up — the canyons do. As the sun drops, Zion, Kolob, and the red rock cliffs to the east catch the last light and absolutely beam. It’s not your typical sunset — it’s a canyon glow show. And yeah, it deserves its own name.
